I vowed that Athena envied her beauty,Sophia her Wisdom,that the Sun gave its light by reflecting on her fair face.I insisted she would be recalled and feted for ages. I hardly knew her,for all I know it might be true. I had the feeling she was living from hour to hour like that character like that character in The Night of the Iguana.
