Is being a "lone wolf" really such a bad thing?

Why is it so bad to just not want to constantly be around people and prefer to do things on your own?

For some the term "lone wolf" is synonymous with "psycho killer" though I know 2 such people who are as sane as anyone else, but just prefer the peace and quiet of being alone.

I am a lone Wolf and I know people have punished me for that.
Perhaps it is about not understanding that which is different.

@SW-User That may very well be the case. I just find it frustrating that society believes that EVERYONE should be same as everyone else and the moment one person does things differently, they put a negative label on that person.

Fret not about expectations. Just be you. Keep the door open inwards for those who can accept you and outwards for those who can't.
