Easier said than done, I doubt it will ever change
Lizabee · F
@nedkelly And now the NRA wants to pass a bill allowing the legal purchase of silencers. People ducked and ran in Las Vegas because of the sound of gunfire.

Sadly true @nedkelly

What scares me is how America preaches its values and freedom to the world it really does need to get its own house in order@Lizabee
Lizabee · F
@tonykaye of course we do. That doesn't negate the good. Unfortunately our current president has no clue about our good and amplifies that daily.
nedkelly · 61-69, M
@Lizabee I dont think this time you can blame trump
Lizabee · F
@nedkelly I'm not blaming him. However his party is a tool of the NRA. In his comments today he NEVER once said the word GUN. That's not by accident.
nedkelly · 61-69, M
@Lizabee Liz it is the same down under, they deliberately leave out certain words all the time when it suits them
Lizabee · F
@nedkelly so my anger and disgust is valid

@tonykaye Our house is in order. Our government is not violating its citizen's rights. If you are concerned about that I suggest you start posting about how the Canadian and British governments are suddenly jailing people for their speech. Now I realize they don't; have guaranteed right to speech but they have essentially had it until now.
tonykaye · 61-69, M
Who are we jailing not aware of that@katielass
