Anybody else already tired of the players taking a knee during the anthem?

The last picture I saw was of the Dallas Cowboys doing it. I'm a Redskins fan anyway. But the way I see it is if you don't stand with your country you stand against it.

They are not insulting their own country, the are protesting Trump and his policies. The ideals of you country celebrate freedom of speech and opposition to government; by denying them their democratic American right to be critical of government, you are disrespecting your own ideals.

@JimboSaturn Well trump has done nothing to be impeached. Their protest won't do shit. That flag represents so much and this is like standing on it.

It doesn't matter what you think people still have a right to protest; that is the core of your democracy. They didn't even do anything to the flag, they knelt during the anthem. Democracy requires emotional maturity. You have to be able to take criticism. Plus a flag is an inanimate object, but your beliefs in freedom of speech is a living thing in the hearts of Americans. @Deletedlol
