I don't think they are against the country. I dont think it's the right way to protest but they're doing it because they want their country to do better
Deletedlol · 22-25, F
@CholeK In what way would this help the country become better though?

I'm tired of people thinking a protest such as this will change a problem that doesn't exist in the way they think it does.

Regardless of whatever their motives are, it's a disrespect to our flag and country. Our ancestors, family, friends and strangers have fought and will fight for us to be safe at our home.

@imLobo Again, I comprehend their right to do as they please. When did I encourage them not to exercise their rights? I stated that kneeling while the national anthem is playing is disprectful. And no, no bill or document states that you need to respect their will free will. I never implied or said that, you fabricated that implication.

They are not insulting their own country, the are protesting Trump and his policies. The ideals of you country celebrate freedom of speech and opposition to government; by denying them their democratic American right to be critical of government, you are disrespecting your own ideals.
Deletedlol · 22-25, F
@JimboSaturn Well trump has done nothing to be impeached. Their protest won't do shit. That flag represents so much and this is like standing on it.
JimboSaturn · 51-55, M
It doesn't matter what you think people still have a right to protest; that is the core of your democracy. They didn't even do anything to the flag, they knelt during the anthem. Democracy requires emotional maturity. You have to be able to take criticism. Plus a flag is an inanimate object, but your beliefs in freedom of speech is a living thing in the hearts of Americans. @Deletedlol

@SW-User So I understand fine, however it's still disrespectful and unpatriotic.

@SW-User Listen when I've said I've taken it from all perspectives. I've been in debates state wide about the subject, have researched deep into it, have notes, and everything I need. But I will always are as nothing but wrong.

It's not helping anyone..

it's becoming more divisive than the issue they're protesting.
Yes ... it got old the 1st time

None of it makes sense

They lost the election ... they should just get over it.

Simply stated I have no problem with them wanting to protest the injustices in our country but you are at work and are getting paid a lot of money to do your job. Leave you political agenda off the field and get to work. If I had a job I sure know I would not be allowed to do it at my place of employment and if I did my employer has every right to fire me
Flenflyys · 31-35, F
What does all this taking a knee mean
Deletedlol · 22-25, F
@Flenflyys NFL teams\players take a knee rather than standing for the national anthem. It's extremely disrespectful.
Flenflyys · 31-35, F
Oh, it seems like even more work tbh
