Same. I am very protective of my siblings and they laugh about it. I grew up in different times than them. And it's so difficult to let go and accept they are safer.

We live in Canada. The other is studying in Spain. I grew up in Algeria, in war. Thousands of people went missing back then. Some women were never reported because of ignorance or other reasons.

@Miram Yeah Algeria is/was a problem... but even IF I were in Canada, it wouldn't change a damn thing about how protective I am!

NO PLACE is ever safe as far as I'm concerned. I trust no one with my kids.

@iMystery Agreed, nowhere is 100% safe. Even countries that have a reputation of good living conditions and security.
