No, more devastated. The people I've told have either not been accepting or been crappy after/over time (not that it's anything [i]bad[/i] btw)

I am sorry some truths are very hard to open up about. I have put some of mine out there on my profile page and even in this small pond it was not easy. Sometimes, the shame is what is done to us and not what we are, but often times we cannot separate the two.

Yes things sometimes are better not said as people don't realise how badly you are affected and their way of helping is not helpful

You can only change things you want to change.. you can't change the past so dont dwell on what you did in the past and focus on how you want to be in the future

I used to be. With age comes tthe wisdom that no one can shame you. Shame is an inside job.
