Most of you have been on sites like this for many years..
I ask all of you with this understanding.... Have you made a difference for a common goal?

Good question, I think! But I'm not sure if you mean has each of us, individually made a difference in our own part of the world, or if we as a collective have created a change.
In the first case, I'd say I have shared some helpful advice, when asked, and hope that I have helped to ease at least one person's grief or anxiety. It would be nice to think I could effect some positive change for someone with my words, because words are all we have on a site like this.
In the second case, I'd say, "What? Are you crazy? It's hard enough to get three people who are in the same room to agree to work together toward a common goal."
