Have you ever wanted to be physically close to someone, but not want to be with them?

As in, cuddling, hugs, holding hands, etc. but not wanting to be in a relationship with them.

Maybe it's just hunger for affection after going without it for so long?

I cuddle, hug, and hold hands with friends so sure, all the time. It's a different feeling when it's romantic even if the core actions are the same.
