What would you feel if your very significant other made effort to be a better person for other people but not for you?

I decided to get a nap in before tapping to post comment rectangle.

A very significant other? I'm not at all sure how that works. I can only guess its meaning. That's either a way to set a significant other apart from a more significantly significant one, or something around these parts is called a legal or common-law spouse.

Old salthy like me I still believe in the olden days ways. Address the contract if there is one and try to induce compliance verbally. I was good at that once. These days it might not be so easy in the belligerency of contemporary times.

So then now, at this point in my life I would handle things differently. I would see through the ruse. And so, put five pounds of crud in a four pound carryall while I shiver me timbers. Substantially. Most likely drop a few nickles before hailing a cab. To go have sunny side up morning burgers with a better main squeeze. Sneeze the C-tact list for sure.

I was never that cool tho. I was such a anti drama dik back then.
