I love taking natural and nature pics.

It was really storming at the beginning of this week and I was able to capture this rainbow pic after as the sun had started to appear. I framed one and allowed the other to stay exactly as I took the pic.

@SW-User That's beautiful my friend thanks for sharing as well.

@sensualbeauty1 You are welcome, my friend. It's one of those places I visit to find calmness.
@SW-User I hear you "J" I too find that as I sit on my deck and look around at all the beauty that surrounds me here. Add the nature sounds and it's incredible.
SW-User
@sensualbeauty1 It is always. It gives me the satisfaction nothing else can. I can truly live in an island forever
@SW-User That's a lovely thought. I find when I'm restless at times that just sitting outside, viewing what surrounds me and listening to the birds it gives me so much inner peace.
SW-User
@sensualbeauty1 Do you own all that property that's shown in the pic? It looks like a huge garden.
@SW-User Yes we're on about 2.4 acres here and have many flower and raised gardens. I'll get a couple pics of my smoke tress and post them. They look so gorgeous in the morning with the dew on the flowers and the sun shining on them.
SW-User
@sensualbeauty1 The place looks gorgeous. You are very lucky. That's a big area and very beautiful. That will be great, I'd love to see them.
@SW-User Thanks so much my friend. There's been a lot of time, hard work and energy that went into the landscaping and planting. Not to mention many man hours of labor constructing rock retaining and bordering walls. I'll get some picks of my smoke trees and post them..😊
SW-User
@sensualbeauty1 I can imagine the effort you have put in. That's an impressive job, my friend. My dream is to buy a land somewhere in the wilderness and construct everything myself over years.
@SW-User I'm sure you'll do it my friend. You're very dedicated to your job and if you put half that energy and effort into your landscaping dream it will pay off in more ways than one. I know you'll make it happen..The best of luck to you.
SW-User
@sensualbeauty1 Thank you, my friend. Your trust and kind words mean a lot to me.
@SW-User You're very welcome; that's what friends are for to always allow them to see their best qualities and to just be there whenever. 😆😊
SW-User
@sensualbeauty1 I totally agree. :)
@SW-User You're special and a sweet man..Hugs
SW-User
@sensualbeauty1 Hugs back my friend.
@SW-User Thanks so much my friend..Just took the pic of the smoke bushes. Here it is..

@sensualbeauty1 Jesus, that's so lovely and everything is so green. Just love it. Is that the drive way next to it?
@SW-User Yes it is and with all the rain everything is like a tropical rain forest so alive and green with the exception of my gardens only onions, tomatoes and cucumbers survived and perhaps my anise. That's my driveway and the pine beetles destroyed my pine tree and kllled it late last year.
SW-User
It really has the tropical forest look. Sorry about the pine tree. They are very pretty and the beetle problem is hard to combat sometimes. They remain hidden without our notice. That's great that you are also growing your own vegetables. I bet they taste much better than supermarket stuff.
@SW-User That's so true unfortunately it was a species foreign to Canada and it has destroyed many beautiful pine trees. I love fresh garden produce and the first batch of butter beans are so delicious that it literally makes your mouth water. No comparison to supermarket veggies. I use to do all sorts of pickling and canning. My dill pickles I've been told are to die for. LOL.👄

@sensualbeauty1 I don't blame those immigration people when they confiscate anything that has a potential of creating bio hazards in the native country. Beetles must have been introduced by something that people brought with them from their land. That's quite lovely. That's almost like attaining self-dependence when it comes to growing veggies. Pickles are amazing. I miss the big pickles they used to serve in the US/Canada.
@SW-User Yes the beetles came here via cargo ships primarily from China and other Asian countries. Very possibly airlines but not too sure on the latter.

My pickles and relishes were recipes attained from my grandmother's own personal ones. I improvised and made a few on my own sith patience, time, taste and culinary genius. 😆 I make German and English dill pickles both are actually quite delicious according to my family and friends. 😊
SW-User
@sensualbeauty1 You have got that gift from your grandmother and treasured it. That's amazing . I have no doubts you are a culinary genius.
@SW-User Thanks so much "J" I've truly been blessed in my life. To have learned so much from my amazing Mama and Grandmothers. I was able to take what I had been taught and simply teach myself new methodologies and culinary tips to improve myself.
