What are the similarities between a hospital and a prison?

a regular hospital, I think there is a lot of difference.. psychiatric hospitals are a fair bit similar I think though.. you can not leave from own free will, you have to follow a schedule, crappy food, nothing much to do.. I'm sure there is more things the same too

a lot of times you are only allowed family visits during the visiting hours.. some hospitals are very strict on that (psych hospitals)

oh also the hospital I went in as a teen had a room like solitary confinement when you were deemed as a danger to yourself or others.. so add that to the list

yeah.. cant shave your legs. I think they try to make you more crazy when you are in there lol
