Is Your Mind More Drawn To What You Don't Want Than What You Do Want?

It's good to be aware of potential dangers and obstacles, it is basic psychological instinct to do so. However, this very instinct is used against you by the media. The News is almost always negative because that's what people will watch, advertising will always make you feel like you're lacking something because the product that seems to be the solution to that made up problem is what people will buy. With this in mind..

Isn't it time you focused on what is right? On your dreams?? What you want? Because all that resides in you. A miserable person will leave a trail of gloom everywhere they go, while someone who loves themself (not in a narcissistic or egotistical way) will leave inspiration, happiness, and new friends in their wake.

I feel sorry for people who are overly affected by advertising.. I don't know what it is, maybe personality or the way some peoples minds work? but i have rarely been affected by advertising.. I find adverts boring..

@Adstar Advertising is very cleverly done, entire populations are affected by it. It's quite the achievement to have never been influenced by it.

@Archetype Not sure if it is an achievement? Maybe just my peculiar personality maybe.. 🤪 The only time i take any notice of an Ad is when i already want something and an ad appears advertising the product or service..

The survival instinct in me focuses on what I don't want. But I become aware of that quickly and shake it off to replace it with what I do want.
Advertising doesn't affect me. Media doesn't affect me.
