I think we should call someone's pronoun correctly.

Like I noticed people always use girl do describe a female/woman but the thing is girl is a child not adult.

Like "I hooked up with a girl last night." It sounds so wrong.

I know I am not pro in English but at least distinguish them in the right way would be appropriate.

Anyway, it just what's inside my head. I know we have various pronouns these days since we have trans. Its getting mixed up. I am trying to understand other pronouns so that I wouldn't mixed them up or mispronoun them.
The use of girl to refer to adult women really depends on the context for me. Like if a friend says 'I have been seeing this girl/talking to this girl etc' i understand they are obviously refering to an adult. Just as we will say guy or dude instead of man. Dude can also refer to boys but obviously depending on the context i know whether they are actually talking about a child or adult. But often times girl does have a derogatory meaning to it as well,i agree ,and it can be used to infantilise women ,undermine them
what are trans and how many of these do you have?
