I’ve always lived in the pull of a world that was cut in half.

There’s the part that belongs to the wind and the water and birds and our childhood instincts.

And then there’s the other part where we’re held captive by what people tried to build on top of it and the parts of us they had to kill to make us fit.

If there is anywhere to return to after this life, I want it to be that first place.

I think the craziest part to me is that we all agree to the 2nd part unwittingly, or if not unwittingly then by coercion.

@ZulXeroth we are born into a world that broke us very intentionally. the whole thing runs on the idea that people won’t resist if you make the cage feel normal and were taught this before we are old enough to question it. Once we do most people don’t see a way out so go along to survive. That is by design and yes very coercive.
