I've reached the bad head space again

@rocknroll I wish I was selfish enough to give up, but I know my cat depends on me, and at her age, she doesn't have the time or energy to train another human to look after her.

@LordBarbossa I used to have that thought a lot, and I still sometimes get it now. We already know that you’re not useless, because you’re a cat parent. I’m sure if you think about it you have other qualities that make you not useless. From looking at your profile, it seems like you’re single, so you must be quite independent. Start doing things you enjoy and focus on your own happiness, not doing what you think you should be doing, and not living for other people. I hope that makes sense.
