I Live In My Head Too Much

i don't know enough. after listening to my colleague talking about how my ex boss s father (also my ex boss) getting rich, i realize how little i know about the world. their business is just a side business which helps them to get involved in much bigger investment (which explains why their work quality is so bad, they just don't care). i dont hv exposure like this and will never be able to come up with sth like this. but that s not what i want to do. my world is too straightforward.

It is wise to know about how much evil exists in the world, but as a way to defend ourselves, and try to get away from it as much as possible. Otherwise thinking too much about it can be paralysing.

good people with ethics should not focus too much at work. understandable that at certain level some people wouldn't like to be promoted even though they are motivated people with a drive for constant improvement.
