Do you pay a lot of attention to what people think of you?

I know I pay too much. I do really care what people think of me. I know I shouldn’t but I do.
Some people I know from school have been laughing at me and my girlf as there was some stuff from our church on social media. It had a little video of us singing.
I know it will pass in time, but it’s a bit horrid to deal with right now.

It very much depends on who the people are. If they are those I respect and have a good understanding of me, I will give it attention. I may not change anything, but I will listen. If they are people who know nothing about me and have no impact on my life, they get, and deserve, no attention. I'm glad you understand that it will pass, but it is hard for the time being. Rise above it and set the example.

If it involves church members, a word with the pastoral leadership may help prevent it happening to others.
