The brevity of life

Recently a friend was texting me about how quickly the time was passing. It made me think of the brevity of life. On my tombstone (I think I will actually be cremated because of the high cost of funerals) there will be two dates. One is the date of birth and the other is the date of death. In between those two dates is a dash. That dash represents my life lived.
