I Think a Lot

it should be "I love you NOW" instead of just plain, misleading, lie-like "i love you"

it is so much accurate and it is the application of what humanity has learned about romance over time- that "love" or romantic attraction is nothing but just an emotion that one feels at the moment much like craving or hunger or thirst. regardless of whether or not it gets satisfied, it'll just eventually go away like it's always been meant to.

Love is just an temporary attraction. After that it's about getting along together.
@AnneHoney Not all love is romantic love. Some people are capable of loving even after the lust has passed.

Yes but that is different than the I love you that indicates passion and desire. It's more like the love you have for grandad. @bijouxbroussard

@bijouxbroussard and some believe love is a complex thing, consisting of emotions, common purpose/interests, lust and intellectual intercourse. None of these things have to drop off over time.
@Northwest I agree with you. That's how I see it---I have loved like that. The feelings are nothing like what I had for my grandparents. I get that not everyone can relate though @AnneHoney
