I feel like I was much happier when I was a kid than I've been as a adult

Probably because as kids we didn't know know how evil the world is and we didn't have anything to worry about or stress about like bills and relationships etc. All we cared about was playing outside and hanging out with friends and family. I miss the days where we only worried about who's friends house we were going to.

You didn't know know how evil the world is and you didn't have anything to worry about or stress about like bills and relationships because you had a good childhood and didn't suffer from anxiety.

I can't relate to what you say at all because I literally couldn't sleep at night because of worrying about all kind of stuff when I was a kid. In this regard, I like adulthood much more.
