You didn't know know how evil the world is and you didn't have anything to worry about or stress about like bills and relationships because you had a good childhood and didn't suffer from anxiety.
I can't relate to what you say at all because I literally couldn't sleep at night because of worrying about all kind of stuff when I was a kid. In this regard, I like adulthood much more.

I really enjoyed childhood, and I enjoy being an adult. The difference is that now I have a chance to do something about the problems and help work towards solving them. Making a difference brings much happiness to adulthood.

@windinhishair I agree. As adults, we have much more control over what's going on in our life and it's easier to figure out what is wrong because we already have the experience. Furthermore, if things go wrong it's often us who is to blame, so it's easier to take responsibility and reconcile.

I suspect most of us were happier as kids.
