I'm sad-I hit a deer tonight.

I was driving home from work and passing by a large field, and a young deer 🦌 literally jumped right into my car, almost like it was trying to commit suicide. My car swerved and I did a uturn and tried to go back to see if it was in the road, but I couldn't find it and there was a lot of traffic coming. I hope it was able to make it across the road and that it wasn't hurt too bad. This was the second time I have hit a deer in almost the exact same spot. There are no lights on that road and the deer move very fast across the road.

My friend hit 2 after night shift on dark backroads several weeks apart. The 1st walked off.

The 2nd incident, she had to wait for a ranger to put it down. She was sick to her stomach.
It totalled her car.

Like you, same area of road.

@SethGreene531 wow-2 in one night? That's horrible! I guess I am lucky that it didn't do more damage to my car- it knocked one part of my car out of whack, but I don't know the name of the part.

@Mardrae Yes, yours was fixable thankfully.

Her accidents were actually a month or so apart.
