I'm sad-I hit a deer tonight.

I was driving home from work and passing by a large field, and a young deer 🦌 literally jumped right into my car, almost like it was trying to commit suicide. My car swerved and I did a uturn and tried to go back to see if it was in the road, but I couldn't find it and there was a lot of traffic coming. I hope it was able to make it across the road and that it wasn't hurt too bad. This was the second time I have hit a deer in almost the exact same spot. There are no lights on that road and the deer move very fast across the road.

In Australia the problem is kangaroos. There are countless thousands of them crossing roads in winter, in the outback. Many vehicles have guards, (roo bars) on the front to prevent damage.
