We have a lake and several ponds out here … but it rarely freezes hard enough to consider walking on it . Except 3 years ago … -5 for 6 days did the trick
@SoSophie it was about 7-8 inches around the edges . We didn’t go out in the deep part . But before it froze I lost a bet with my hubby and had to dive in there naked ! Omgosh that will open your eyes ! They got me right out and covered but I still shook for 10 minutes . Brrrr!
@Thinkerbell it was a sports bet . I should have known better . Usually if I lose it’s something sex related which I figure is a win win scenario . Then he got nasty with the ice plunge .
