Anyone else get really sad after they drink?

I just remembered why I rarely drink. I was a drunk, giggly person and now I am sober all too soon and have a terrible case of the cosmic glooms. Send me spare happy thoughts plz 🥲🥲

It's a depressant so you need to be prepared for the hangover which includes a bit of depression. Think of it as borrowing happiness from the day after. It can be worth it, sometimes it's not. 🤭

@MartinTheFirst I had a good, anxiety free time for a couple of hours there...and I don't tend to get hangovers, so fingers crossed. I just need to cheer up 🙄

@Starsandfire Good for you! I hope it refreshed you more than what the depression brought you down. But you certainly do get hangovers, everyone does, it's like.. baked into the drug. Sometimes maybe you dont notice it.
