which is your favourite depiction of 'Robin hood' in television history

mine has to be the 1950s tv show ' the adventures of robin hood' starring Richard Greene, that series was of my mum and dads era, but i love it....all the modern tv adaptations of robin hood you've seen in recent times are a joke, but then mostly all modern tv is a joke.

Grew up on those Richard Greene shows, loved them. The days when children's Saturday morning TV was mostly live-action shows, not cartoons... ROBIN HOOD, IVANHOE, WILLIAM TELL, FURY, LONE RANGER, CISCO KID, SKY KING, RAMAR OF THE JUNGLE, JUNGLE JIM, WILD BILL HICKOCK, ANNIE OAKLEY JR, etc., etc....

I kind of liked the Russell Crowe one.

The guy from the princess bride did it really well.
