I would love to go back to the fifties

I am drawn to almost everything from that time period. Music and films, home styles and furniture and fashion that still looks amazing and iconic 70 years later. Peplum tops with pencil skirts and dresses with crinoline skirts, make any girl feel pretty and feminine. Retro hair styles and cat eye sunglasses. Even the underwear was sexy for pin-up burlesque look. I'd happily live in the fifties and thrive I think. It's a time when men were men and women were women.

No internet no TV people talked to each other face to face. Kids went out to play games. Not on computers and mobiles but fun things. I am a 60s child and remember the good days

@nevergiveup Even for me, born in the seventies I've seen the difference, kids now don't what to do without a mobile phone.

@nevergiveup It's my go to for my teens, I would never need to smack them, taking their phones, refusing to drive them, stopping pocket money or getting them to do extra jobs is effective! 😅
