I would love to go back to the fifties

I am drawn to almost everything from that time period. Music and films, home styles and furniture and fashion that still looks amazing and iconic 70 years later. Peplum tops with pencil skirts and dresses with crinoline skirts, make any girl feel pretty and feminine. Retro hair styles and cat eye sunglasses. Even the underwear was sexy for pin-up burlesque look. I'd happily live in the fifties and thrive I think. It's a time when men were men and women were women.

a good time to experience i am sure.
I personally would love to go back to the 800"s. that time period fascinates me beyond belief.
If i had to choose a time period i lived during i would say back to the 2000"s

@Torsten what is it about the 800's that fascinates you? If I had to go back to a time which I'd lived through I'd choose 80s/90's

@Patientlywaiting how simple things were as in No technology and all that.
paganism being much more common is another thing.
Roles in familes were much more defined also and i believe that would have made all parties happier to what they are like today.
Granted there was a lot of bad things that happened also but Living that lifestyle that people did especially in Scandanavia, sounds better to me than what its like today.

Why the 80s/90's? those were good times also but curious what you liked about it
