I would love to go back to the fifties

I am drawn to almost everything from that time period. Music and films, home styles and furniture and fashion that still looks amazing and iconic 70 years later. Peplum tops with pencil skirts and dresses with crinoline skirts, make any girl feel pretty and feminine. Retro hair styles and cat eye sunglasses. Even the underwear was sexy for pin-up burlesque look. I'd happily live in the fifties and thrive I think. It's a time when men were men and women were women.

I love this era of fashion and style too.

And as much as it seems so romantic ....i wouldnt go back to this time.
I love my freedom, i love todays diversity . I love that i can talk, eat, play and go out with anyone i like, (black, white, asian, jewish Zoroastrian ....whatever) ....with my own money, on my own time .

40/50's eras fashion is so iconic....and reeks of elegance. Had the chance to parade some original pieces from a collection once....and its amazing to wear.

And men looked so smart in their jackets and hats.

But not that time . It wasnt a place for anyone who wasnt a white man ....or rich.
