I have started keeping a dream journal and have noticed some reoccuring dream themes or places.

I have noticed that a lot have taken place in or involve my childhood home, my childhood elementary school or this place on a beach that resembles a modern architecture glass mansion of a building. Themes I have noticed are my old school is always abandoned and full of nostalgic things. If I am in my old home I see nostalgic things. I have been in other homes in dreams where I can't seem to get enough of nostalgic things such as records or toys from my youth. There is also a theme of either I am protecting someone from something or someone is protecting me from something. I have had a few dreams also that involved chinese symbols or writing that I cannot read or understand. I have also seen old chinese women in my dreams too without a clue as to who they are. To me they give off shaman wise woman vibes due to how they are dressed and the energy they put off, they always seem kind and warm.

I haven't had the chance to try to put it all together to figure out what any of it means but I'm sure it means something.
Do you write these dreams in your journal first thing after you awaken?

@rinkydinkydoink Not always but are often memorable enough I can remember for later.

I have only had two dreams about my highschool. Both involved me as an adult. News had come over the radio that the missiles were in the air. I owned a residential construction company so in both dreams I was driving my work van and pulled into the school park lot and used the school for shelter. I know using the school wouldn't save me, but I had to try. I grew up and lived in the Washington DC suburbs of Virginia. You just know they were going to get hit first. ☹

@Musicman That sounds intense about the missles.

@deepblacknothingness Living in the Washington DC area it was something we really worried about.
