What do visions and predictive dreams mean? Can you give an example?

Please reply if you know, it's important to me ♾️

I always thought it was just our brains’ way of processing external pressures in our lives; whether that be stress, excitement, sorrow, regret etc.

I don’t know if dreams have true predictive power though; we tend to remember the few that seem to manifest, and forgot all the dreams that don’t.

"predictive" dreams ... That's a real presupposition right there.

For as far as I'm aware, dreams are just made of random data that is already in your head. It's because they are so weird and can be really vivid and lucid, that people want to attach meaning to it. So far... this idea that dreams have more meaning then just your subconcious fooling around and organising data that is just stuck in your memory hasn't been proven. And thus, I think it's better to disregard it, unless it's a hypothesis that you actively want to pursue. So far, attaching great meanings to them, have been a fools errand.

I once had a dream that was a full day of work then about a month later that day happened everything same conversations everything. Except they did not pay me for the work in the dream.

It largely depends on your culture & beliefs.
Sorry, nobody has any magical foreknowledge of the future. Sometimes our subconscious will make guesses and that might show up as a dream or "vision" in our conscious mind. But it's still your same old brain processing the same old info; no ESP or "spirit world" involved.

Nothing.

The human brain is naturally/instinctively predisposed to trying to find connections and make relations. It's part of why we're so successful as a species. Your brain's just being hyperactive.

If anything, it's probably just a biproduct of processing/storing.

I felt a bit of deja vy from a dream as a child of about 4.
