The Hardest Goodbye

What I've learned at the age of 34 is, the hardest goodbye that I've ever experienced is saying it to the person I used to be. He took my happiness, but at least he left a few memories for me to look back on.

Why do you feel such?
UnstableDiffusion · 36-40, M
@Lyfis2live I miss the person I used to be, back before I ever tried pain medication, before my injury, before my mental health declined, before I experienced the loss of the love of my life, and before many more things. I was happy and looking forward to my future.
@UnstableDiffusion But all these episodes must hv taught you the fickleness of life. One time there, the next vanishes.

Get used to the life's ways. Faster, the better.

All lessons are there to strengthen you. Take them or drop them is upto you.
Best!

@Lyfis2live If these are lessons, who's the teacher?
@UnstableDiffusion Whoever as per your perceptions!

If you treat life to be your buddy, accept Life n the ways She takes you along.

If you are into Karmic flow, take it as reaping game and go forward to clear all your debts.

Don't keep any mortal as a tr., as All are mere instrumental in the ongoing proceeding.

Accept and wave neutrally towards the past You, if not smilingly.

@Lyfis2live I appreciate your advice. I will try that.
@UnstableDiffusion Blessings!

Not because you appreciated my scribble but coz I had none at a given stage to share such with me.
Be kind to self.
