Goodbye Everybody and all the best
I joined Experience Project close to when it started and have been friends with some of you since then. I will always be grateful to Similar Worlds for stepping into the gap with the closure of EP and to be honest I think they’ve done some things a lot better.
I have attended a wedding of a member
I have flown across the world and stayed with a member
I have witnessed the last communications of a beloved member before she died
I have swum with sea lions with a member
I’ve helped some members through suicidal feelings
And myself been helped through dark periods
I have been made to feel like I matter and my words matter
I have had a place to express my creativity
Admittedly, I’ve also had some spectacular fights 😆. I guess I might be a tad feisty and a little bit passionate. A lot of the people I’ve sparred with I actually really like, and I think there’s a lesson in that.
However, in the last couple of weeks I have had some conflicts that aren’t easy to ignore or get over. I feel like I need some time to concentrate on myself and my health.
Another reason, Similar Worlds is very addictive and takes up a lot of my time.
One relationship that will be continuing offline is with my darling @CopperCicada, who is coming to Australia again in December.
I have so much love, admiration, gratitude and affection for the vast majority of users in this site. It is only a tiny majority who have spoiled things for me right now.
