Is it wrong to beat ego with ego ?

People do it all the time. It's good for reinforcing ego, under the guise of not using it.

Im not entirely convinced it's the way ego should be reinforced .

@PhoenixPhail I suppose it depends on how much you have to start with 🤔
A certain amount is need for self worth and being able to independently navigate between super-ego and id.
Too much or too little and either the id rules, or we succumb to our superego and get lost in being too judgemental on ourselves .
