Csn you get electrocuted by a loose light socket?

I rent.

Light blew, got a new one , but when i went to change it , the light socket literally just twisted around.
And when i gave it a push (as you do with bayonet bases) it just slid up into the light batten.

I mean, i could turn off the circuit, but i looked in the breaker box....amd this place is so old all the lables have faded and i cant tell which is which.

And our landlord is shit at commiting to fixing stuff

No, you're not going to get electrocuted.

It's highly unlikely you're going to even get shocked with the light socket twisting around like that. If there were to be a short, you may hear and even see the arc it creates, but it would just throw whatever breaker that circuit is on. But, it's something that definitely should be looked at.

Your landlord needs to get his arse in gear and get with it.
@PhoenixPhail ugh....EVERY repair is alwaus a waiting game 🙄.

Lucky i have candles.
