thinking bout that childhood friend who was kind of the best until we drifted apart as we got older, i do still see him around town.. But we never talk at all.... Ik hes doing well.

This reminds me of a friend in elementary school. She stood up to the bullies and she once invited me to her house and made Mac n’ cheese and showed me her violin. She was a really good friend and once in a while I find myself wondering how she is even to this day. Unfortunately I moved away and lost contact a long time ago.

I know what ya mean though about neighbours when growing up and you just drift .
