How do you deal with deep rooted pain?

Not because of medical condition.
Aliveshock Best Comment
A cathartic release, I attended many rock concerts in the 70s which helped. Relationships with the source of pain must be restructured ao that the active pain source is nullified.

@Aliveshock Thank you so much 🙏

Typically, I just focus on carrying on through it. I don't think that's a good instinct.

@BlueVeins Thanks mate

I focus in on the source of that particular pain, then meditate on it.
Until I can talk to my therapist and make her laugh and then she says, “Oh. You were serious about that.”
Talk it out and settle on a process of how to package it then label it, build a compartment for it and find a proper place to bury that fucker!

Until I need to pull it out and properly beat someone’s ass with it.

I just deal with it
Ynotisay · M
@SW-User Good, concise answer. Me too. All it takes is not indulging. It's not that hard.

@Ynotisay I don't do the "poor me" thing very well
Ynotisay · M
@SW-User We're in the same club. 👍

Have you heard of a book called
“There’s a Hole in my Love Cup”? Sven E. Erlandson
Highly recommend
Jeephikelove · 46-50, F
@Futuremirror how come?
Futuremirror · 36-40, M
@Jeephikelove Not my first language and they used difficult and deep English words, unfamiliar to me. Without knowing the meanings properly, it won't make sense to me like it will to those with English as their first language
Jeephikelove · 46-50, F
@Futuremirror oh I see, but that’s ok

Put it in a box and come back to it when it is time (meaning when I am ready/capable) to deal with it. It's a learned thing, anger when I was younger.
You can't bury it, you have to work through it. When it comes up, take a pause and let yourself feel it. Once you learn to live with it, it'll never stop you.
It’s the toughest pain of all. I had to learn to let go and let God!
Futuremirror · 36-40, M
@NoGamesTolerated Believing in God and leaving it God is the best therapy ever. Thank you lady
@Futuremirror Some things only God can make right! And he will on his time and not ours tho.

And you’re welcome!

Scream, play drums, music, art, writing, rest, nature and time alone. Especially time alone.

I found being away from others and getting all their opinions and "you should's" out of my head helped me find my way.

Also, because I release it and I'm not afraid of my dark side, people act like I'm a freak. But they don't know, they don't care and they aren't going to help. Alone is best for me.
Ynotisay · M
Just remember that you run you. You can choose to have pain or not.

I listen to logic.
Futuremirror · 36-40, M
@Sanatio What if your own biology resisting to it, even for time being.
Sanatio · F
Then I see it as being a little mad … and just like wonderland ‘we’re all mad in here’ …. And without madness we wouldn’t know sanity @Futuremirror
TheOthetAcc · 36-40, M

Futuremirror · 36-40, M
@TheOthetAcc I am sorry to hear.I hope, it won't be the case with me

With time.

The only way I have been able to deal with deep rooted pain is to walk with it until it finally fades away.
Starcrossed · 41-45, F
I found a good therapist who was trained in the A.R.T. [Accelerated Resolution Therapy] technique.

What is deep rooted pain? Physical? Psychological?
Futuremirror · 36-40, M
@CrazyMusicLover emotional. Like soul is hurting, if you believe in soul.
CrazyMusicLover · 31-35
@Futuremirror Oh, that's eventually physical for me too. Throat and chest hurt from it. It never lasted too long for me though.
Steve42 · 56-60, M
I try to find my part in it. My side of the street. Apologize where I was wrong.
Keep my mouth close

I STAB PEOPLE!!!!
I broke and the only option was to fix myself.
Futuremirror · 36-40, M
@V00doo I will do my best to fix. If not for myself than for the people in my life.
