What else can you put in a toaster?

Or does a toaster just toast toast? What if there was never bread? Would we still have toasters? Can you toast pancakes?

Crumpets, English Muffins, Pop Tarts, Waffles. I tried hampsters. But the wont keep still, so I recommend a sandwich press for them..😷
