Still thinking about Lisa Marie Presley...

The poor woman died from a 💔 u could tell she was at the end. I am mad at her son, Ben, who thoughtlessly took his life. He should’ve know what effect this would have☹️ Comments?

You're way off on judging someone who was that depressed. Sure, it hurt a lot of people, but that is unfortunately how it gets you. Depression is an emotional riptide and I feel awful for the people it takes as well as the loved ones left behind.

Well, incomprehensible to me!@uncalled4

Thoughtless? Yeah you don’t understand those feelings do you? Good for you I guess.

No, I don’t...there is always help available, but he apparently was quick to act...that wouldn’t be me. @SW-User

To take his own life, he must have been in severe mental anguish. It seems to me, she could have relapsed over this past year, as a previous substance abuser. She blamed herself for his death, just so sad. I dont know she used again, but at the Golden Globes, her face was sweating🙁

And she aged 10 yrs...so tragic, and yet she showed up to support Austin.@Coralmist

It is sad her daughters couldn’t tell how much in trouble their mother was in.
For her, only that overt demonstrated love would have helped her.
Wiseacre · F
Who knows. Children are astute and must’ve known mom is in mourning.@Pfuzylogic

@Wiseacre
She was very public about her grief.
Her daughters are relatively young so it can be overlooked that they weren’t attentive as they might have been.
You’re incredibly ignorant when it comes to mental illness.
Wiseacre · F
From what ik, Ben took his life because he couldn’t bear the burden to be compared to Elvis...that’s not mental illness.@Pinkstarburst
@Wiseacre Anyone who takes their life is struggling mentally with things they cannot get a handle on. This, again, is proof of your ignorance toward mental illness.

AND…unless you were walking in his shoes or living in his mind, you know nothing.
Wiseacre · F
Well, ok...point taken.@Pinkstarburst
