If you ever feel cringey...

Just remember that when I was eleven I posted a story on Wattpad with 51 chapters that was about a 13 year old who had skipped a grade to get into high school and started dating her 19 year old teacher's assistant. Who was actually a 700 year old shapeshifting, mind-reading vampire who had spent centuries looking for his mate. And also he stole her from her home in the middle of the night but it was fiiiiine because her mom was mean since she wouldn't let her have a phone. And plus he was hot.

And I then turned it into my 6th grade creative writings teacher for extra credit because 'they're both technically teenagers, so it's fine'

Still keeps me up at night y'all.

Reminds me of a story I refused to illustrate; the author (and her two co-editors) claimed it was okay to depict sex with a 12-year old girl because the character was actually a vampire in the body of a 12-year old but wasn't really 12, but I couldn't agree with her. The way she'd written it just creeped me out.

@ChipmunkErnie As an adult, I feel hella uncomfortable when they depict any kind of sexy scene with anyone under like 16. Adults have no reason to wanna sexualize 12 year old bodies tbh. Its understandable that middle schoolers are going to be interested in other middle schoolers, but an adult writing out a sex scene between any kind of underaged kid is just weird in my opinion
