If you ever feel cringey...

Just remember that when I was eleven I posted a story on Wattpad with 51 chapters that was about a 13 year old who had skipped a grade to get into high school and started dating her 19 year old teacher's assistant. Who was actually a 700 year old shapeshifting, mind-reading vampire who had spent centuries looking for his mate. And also he stole her from her home in the middle of the night but it was fiiiiine because her mom was mean since she wouldn't let her have a phone. And plus he was hot.

And I then turned it into my 6th grade creative writings teacher for extra credit because 'they're both technically teenagers, so it's fine'

Still keeps me up at night y'all.

@poisonouscupcake We were the first generation to have cellphones with stuff like that widely available, our parents had nooo idea what to protect us from. I have vivid memories of sitting on the bus to school those first few weeks of my sixth grade year, right beside my still-best friend, reading straight up SMUT with no idea of what it actually was. We were waaaay too loud about the whole "Why is she wet the car that they're on literally has the windows rolled up and its the middle of summer" [big]馃槶[/big] Those damn eighth graders didn't say a WORD to stop us or shut it down, they were probably laughing their asses off at us and we didn't notice.

By the end of the sixth grade year it was too late for me lmao. Wattpad had pulled me into the vampire-werewolf love triangle smut, with a guest star appearance from Y/N in a 1D fanfic. I for suuuure learned about BDSM sometime before turning 13 because the 50 Shades insertion fanfics were everywheeere lol. I can still seee the summaries. "A werewolf romance meets 50 shades of sexy in a twist of fate when poor, abused Anna meets the hot werewolf CEO. Anna is bullied by everyone- but from the first moment she blinked her bright blue orbs at him, he knew he wanted HER as HIS mate! Will Anna find happiness, or will she RUN?"

I'm ashaaaaaamed lmao

@Lucyy My mom definitely found out I had Wattpad on my tablet when I was like 11, and deleted it after an hour long lecture. Literally I was just reading Hunger Game fics where Prim didn't die because at 11 the ending of that trilogy was the most devestating thing to ever happen to me, but couldn't use that as a defense because my mom had ALSO told me that I wasn't allowed to read that [big]馃檭[/big] The misfortunes of having an actually aware mother haha

@AmmieBell SIIIIIISSS my mom for suuuure saw one of the covers of the vampire/werewolf books I read in middle school, and TRIED to gain awareness, but I somehow convinced her that it was the new cover for Romeo and Juliet and we had just started a Shakespear unit in school lmao
