I Have Dark Thoughts Sometimes

I hate getting these thoughts because there's no easy way of getting rid of them and it niggles on me. Talk about them and prepare for a sea of hate or bottle it up and obsess over it. It doesn't even need to be that dark but the over sharing of something so personal without having a support group that also shares similar thoughts is hard to seek out.

As an artist, my eyes must see things others refuse to, or cannot imagine.

As an author, my mind must create things that live in your mind. I must become the character, the creature, to accurately portray it, thinking in ways that are alien to me, from the most angelic saints to the most unrepentant devils.

As an actor, my entire being is transformed into the character narrative. I must physically, as well as mentally, take my creation's mantle as my own.

As a human, my capabilities range from being a downright narcissistic sociopath to the most empathic Samaritan you can imagine. I have spent an entire lifetime dedicated to observing and taking notes on the human species interacting within its native habitats with all the clinical detachment of a nature show host.

Darkness...? My old friend, and bringer of great stories and creations.

Gladly would I speak with you, within these dark corridors of your mind. Let me see your Beast.
