I got hurt feelings

Which leads me back to being here. I'm trying to just cope with it. Just pouring salve on my cut for a couple of days. Someone said "welcome to the asylum" and those words alone comforted me

I am dieting but struggling (obviously; hence the offer to pay a personal trainer) I've just started the gym

Do this. For you .. for your health. Not for or to attract anybody else. Dont give up, no matter what anybody else says or thinks.

If you dont have the knowledge .. consulting a trainer and a dietician would be a great way to get on the right path for you/your body type. Re-tune as needed based on results.

There may be plateaus along the way .. maybe a sign to make some adjustments but they are never a reason to give up.

Down >75 lbs from my depression fueled heaviest 6 years ago. I just crossed into my lowest weight range in 20 yrs and am now focusing on conditioning. Weight loss will continue, but my goals are shifting a bit. I feel like a different person .. and am in many ways. It woke me up. I'm taking control of my life back, across the board.

You can do this. Know that ups and downs will come, just stay at it.
