When every prayer goes unanswered, when there is only ever silence, what options are left?

@AdmiralPrune Friend when I made that remark about answered prayer, I forgot to tell you that I didn't say that very clearly for you to understand. And I'm sorry. What I meant, was that God always answers prayer. Sometimes we may not be aware of that for whatever reason. Maybe we are in grief or whatever, but what I was trying to say, is that God always always answers our prayers and I'll tell you how I know that.
Dear Brother, Firstly, I’m so sorry about your loved one. I know the pain of watching cancer take them, and praying so hard and not feeling like you were heard or answered.
I hear you. God heard you, too.
I know it feels like God didn’t answer. But the truth is, God always answers prayer. It’s just that His answers don’t always look like what we expect.
Sometimes He says Yes. Sometimes He says Wait. And sometimes, in His love, He has to say No — just like we had to tell our kids that we love, no once in a while, and it wasn't because we didn't love them or want the best for them. It was to protect them. God sees the whole picture and we only see a piece.
That doesn’t mean He didn’t hear you. Psalm 65:2 KJV says “O thou that hearest prayer, unto thee shall all flesh come.”
He heard every cry. He collected every tear. Psalm 56:8
I know you used to be a praying man. And I know it hurts to pray again when the last big prayer hurt so much. But please don’t walk away from the only One who can hold your grief with you. He’s not mad at you for being upset. Jesus wept too. John 11:35
1 John 5:14 KJV says “And this is the confidence that we have in him, that, if we ask any thing according to his will, he heareth us.”
He hears. And because He loves us more than we love our own loved ones, sometimes His “no” is protection we can’t understand yet. But one day we shall.
What’s left? God is still left. And He’s not far. “The Lord is nigh unto them that are of a broken heart” Psalm 34:18 KJV
Please don’t give up on Him, and don’t give up on prayer. Even if it’s just “God, I’m hurting”... that’s a prayer too. And He answers.
I’m praying for you. I’m not going anywhere. And neither is Jesus.
With love,
Grace

@AdmiralPrune I truly believe brother that God wanted you to see this today and have it. I believe it came straight from him and his heart.
Footprints in the Sand
One night I dreamed a dream.
As I was walking along the beach with my Lord.
Across the dark sky flashed scenes from my life.
For each scene, I noticed two sets of footprints in the sand,
One belonging to me and one to my Lord.
After the last scene of my life flashed before me,
I looked back at the footprints in the sand.
I noticed that at many times along the path of my life,
especially at the very lowest and saddest times,
there was only one set of footprints.
This really troubled me, so I asked the Lord about it.
"Lord, you said once I decided to follow you,
You would walk with me all the way.
But I noticed that during the saddest and most troublesome times of my life,
there was only one set of footprints.
I don't understand why, when I needed You the most, You would leave me."
He whispered, "My precious child, I love you and will never leave you
Never, ever, during your trials and testings.
When you saw only one set of footprints,
It was then that I carried you."
Love, Grace

@LadyGrace Firstly thank you for your thoughtful response. It’s is very clear you are a good and kind person, and I think if we knew each other in day to day life, we would get on well.
With that in mind, I should probably not respond to your future posts on the subject of your religion, as I do not wish to appear argumentative. It is not my intention to be confrontation but it would be deceitful of me not to state that my position is fundamentally conflicting to your own.
My friend had kidney cancer twice by the time she was 26 and died of lung cancer weeks before 28th birthday. And her death was drawn out and cruel. She took days to actually die. And while we can medicate against pain, asphyxiation over a period of days is a special kind of torment we have no way of addressing. It was certainly torture to watch.
The idea that her sin or the sin of someone else was the reason for the agonising death of a young woman is essentially evil. A casual cruelty that cannot be forgotten and is certainly not worthy of praise or worship. If god had the power to ease that woman’s suffering and chose not to, he can never be a god I would ever interact with.
The heart breaking horror of watching her take days to die, and seeing her husband living the rest of his life alone in a grief induced melancholy, has left me with the firm belief that god is either a fiction, or worse a real malevolent force that casts a blind eye on human suffering while expecting to be praised and worshipped.
This is all to sum up the reasoning why as charming as you are, we will not ever agree on this point. And out of a sense live and let live, I will not respond in future.
Please be assured, should you ever post about how best dark spiced rum could be served, seafood recipes or aircraft restoration projects I shall be more than art attentive.
All the best.

Heavenly Father, forgive us for the times we've tried to do things our own way instead of trusting You. Help us recognize when we're drifting away and give us humble hearts that are willing to turn back to You. Teach us to depend on You in everything, even when we don't understand what You're doing. Help us love You more, trust You completely, and follow Your ways because our hearts truly want to. Thank You for Your patience, Your forgiveness, and Your unfailing love. In Jesus' name, Amen.
Amen
We should ask God for every decision, every turn and every situation in our lives. Some time ago, i was being intelligent and snart, was relying on my own self instead of getting towards God and i was thinking i was helping my family but no, i was not. I should have trusted more on God.
In our world, the more intelligent we think we are, the more we fall in Satan's grip. Instead, submitting to God and His will is the ULTIMATE ANSWER to any question. He is THE ANSWER.

Incredible how you are a slave to one book written thousands of years ago. That is complete brainwashing
@Waveney Tell me how I'm a slave to the word of God. I believe you don't know me, so you can't judge that. What you don't understand, is that God has been so good to me and I love him so much for what he's done for me in my life, it's a privilege and honor to follow him. Not the other way around.

@Waveney God is Love and God is Peace. Peace be upon you.

@IloveyouGod There will only be peace when MAGA is consigned to the dustbin of history.
