I've finally decided to lock-in. I'm 1,504 days overdue, but better late than never, I guess...

I watched Batman the other night, The Dark Knight Rises and Batman said he doesn't fear death. And, this other guy said to him, that's why you can't escape because you don't fear death. And that's the thing. If you don't fear death that's an overall good thing... it puts you at a higher level of moral maturity. And I don't know if that is true or not. You should fear death as a way to make sure you don't stand still. Steve Jobs called it the great equalizer and forces us to get things done before out time runs out.

I'm basically counting down my life, and you can go your whole life without ever focusing or doing the most you possibly can. I don't even really like the term, "lock-in." It should be to unlock your potential. I don't think I am doing the most I could possibly do. And there is a much higher bar that I can reach, but I'm still way down and not climbing up it seems even though I have accomplished a lot since high school. That is something I can't ignore. But there is much more to do. So, the only option is to go for it. I don't know what that exactly means. I guess we'll see.
