I hate when people I don't know nod hello to me because I don't know if I should do the same in return or just walk on by.

It's not that I'm not friendly and approachable. But I don't know exactly what to do... I suppose. It's always a source of wonder on what that other person is thinking because I usually just walk by without making any attempt to acknowledge them. And my intention is not to be unfriendly.
