The new norm

Hours after Amazon Prime Air Flight 7598 overran Runway 30 at Miami International Airport - leaving five people dead - clout culture managed to hit a new, unthinkable low.

The Boeing 767 had just arrived from San Juan when it shot 1,300 feet past the runway, striking a van inside the airport and a Toyota Corolla outside the perimeter fence. All five victims were in those vehicles. Both pilots survived, and the aircraft eventually came to a rest near a parking area before bursting into flames.

While NTSB investigators were still trying to figure out how a routine landing turned fatal, Kick streamer "Binx" was filmed walking up to the wreckage.

Footage shows her posing right in front of the destroyed aircraft, and telling her friend: "Hurry, take a picture."

It wasn't until a local confronted the group for trespassing on private property that they finally left.

The Internet is rightfully erupting. An active disaster site isn't a selfie backdrop. Five families lost loved ones in those crushed vehicles, yet the immediate reaction for a content creator was to turn a tragedy into a photo-op.

The scene is supposed to be secure with no public access during investigation.

Official reports show the plane was traveling at roughly 112 knots as it left the runway during severe thunderstorms in the area with 26-knot wind gusts. The NTSB has recovered the black boxes and is currently investigating the cause.

Her face is in the photo so she`ll be targeted for quite some time and rightfully so.
It gets worse:
I was just reading that the 'Chicken Andy' , (the dude in th' photo), wont take the image down, says hes lost online income over the backlash, and is contemplating suing th airline over defamamtion - even though what he did was criminal.

He's says he didnt know people had died and so hes not at fault.

The dudes moral compass is pointed directly at his own ego.

Which.....from working in a high school - is what a lot of this generation is like.

They fuck around, do stupid shit, ignore rules, (even safety ones), and when shit goes pear shaped, or damage is done, or someone gets hurt - or they get suspended - - they blame everything and everyone else.

NOTHING is EVER their fault.
It’s mad mad world

Not sure if that makes me more sad or simply angry. But it says a lot about human beings. :(

I want to smack Jeff Bozo in the back of the head, but nevermind... those two will get many smacks in the head!!!
I fear we have not yet hit bottom. These creatures are no longer human. clout-seeking is more dangerous than fentanyl.

Self is all that matters.
We have been teaching people that for years.

They do this at concentration camps now ,too.
Pull out the camera and take a picture of themselves there in the barracks or crematoria.
And millions of people died there in the most horrific way by other ,organized, sadists.
Main character syndrome is insane.
No empathy
No care
No responsibility
No ethos.

We're doomed
