MORE Thoughts for a Sunday, and a book recommendation.
If There Is No God, by Dennis Prager.
Key themes:Moral Absolutes: Prager argued that without a belief in God, there can be no absolute morality, as moral standards would simply become subjective.
Logical & Rational Arguments: The book examines common philosophical arguments both for and against the existence of a Supreme Being.
But what STUCK with me was Prager's argument that ALL Christians are, in fact, JUDEO-Christians. Our entire religion and our morality is BASED upon Judism and the morality espoused by Judism...our GOD is the same GOD, and Jesus founded ALL of his teachings upon THAT God!
