Nope, I was at my mom and dad's at 26. I had moved back in when I was 22 and didn't get back out until I was almost 30.

I didn't move out until I was 29... last year. Your parents must be very generous

Extremely common. Who tf can afford to live on their own in their 20s nowadays.

That's entirely up to you and your parents to decide. Are your friends going to pay your rent if you move out? If you and your parents have a good relationship and can coexist without major friction, you can save a lot of money if you stay with them. If it's a toxic environment where you feel like you're constantly stuck in a survival mode, get the hell out of there asap if you can.

This is a different age. People in their 20s are generally having to live with someone, be it parents or roommates. Roommates aren't always better.
What you should be doing is taking advantage of your parents' willingness to let you stay there to work on yourself and try to plan ahead. Also, make sure you are helping around the house and contributing.

No, multi generation households are normal in many places. Save your money by living there
Or would you rather work yourself to death trying to afford your own place just to be able to say you don't live with family? Come on now

@deadgerbil Working just to be able to afford a place that is not yours and comes with a long list of rules about what you can and can't do there where you only go to sleep anyway because you need to work most of the time. 💀
